Caitlin Wood is a wonderful photographer who's creative photographic eye exceeds her camera mastery. She works with two camera's at every shoot. She is particularly skilled at putting her clients at ease. Through conversation and a bit of fun, she creates a relaxed atmosphere for natural photographs.
Caitlin gains her decade of experience through college as well as different work opportunities. She has shot weddings in Nantucket, San Diego, Cape Cod, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Boston, Providence, and Vermont. She also shoots portraits and graduations on a continuing basis throughout New England.
Caitlin grew up in Barrington, Rhode Island. Immediately following high school graduation she went on to college at Colby Sawyer in New London, NH. Next, she ventured to Nantucket for a summer of life experience. Next stop was San Diego, CA where she second shot and still returns for vacations, portrait shoots and weddings. Caitlin recently moved back to RI, and will continue to reside in Newport.

To Whom It May Concern,
I have worked with Caitlin extensively now, from engagement photos, to a boudoir shoot, up to the incredible work she did at our August wedding. Caitlin always shows up promptly, prepared to work. My husband and I are both designers, and as such placed incredible value on the photos of our day. With this in mind, the only photographer who fulfilled our expectations, with her incredible talent and excellent value was Caitlin. Her organization and experience allowed her to capture many more photos than most within the single hour between our ceremony and reception. She was able to organize large groups with ease, making them feel comfortable and capturing everyone at their best (a very difficult feat when there are over a dozen people involved!) By the time our dinner was finished, she already had a slide show of images playing, which our guests greatly enjoyed throughout the evening - and kept working diligently during the reception. Looking through the multitude of photos, I was so glad that I had Caitlin to capture all the subtle, beautiful moments of our day that I was too busy and overwhelmed with guests to even notice myself. She immortalized one of the most important days of my husband and my life poetically. I encourage you to do yourself a great service and use Caitlin for your special event.
